Yogi H. Singh
Yogi currently serves as a managing partner and head of business development for 1850 Investments and is active in all portfolio companies. Previously he was the Director of Acquisitions for Capital Square and its affiliates, where he co-founded the firm oversaw the acquisition of 40 properties in 12 states with an aggregate investment cost in excess of $500 million. Prior to joining Capital Square, he served as Vice President of Acquisitions & Development for a privately held fund manager, where he played an integral role in the underwriting and management of real estate investments. Previously, Yogi was associated with a full-service regional real estate development company in Richmond, Virginia, active in asset management, financial reporting, and brokerage services. He has also worked for a private development company based in New York City, underwriting real estate opportunities in the Southeast and coordinating construction projects.
Yogi earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with a concentration in Real Estate and Urban Land Development, from Virginia Commonwealth University, where he also served on the Board of Trustees for the University’s foundation. He is currently on the Board of the VA Repertory Theatre.

Stewart M. Garland
Stewart currently serves as a managing partner and head of operations for 1850 Investments. Previously Stewart helped build ParkLand Ventures, a national owner/operator of land lease properties and a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Markel Corporation, in Richmond, Virginia. During his tenure at ParkLand Ventures, he played an integral role in growing the business from the ground up, starting as the first full time employee and departing with a staff of 43. At the height of his direct management of the portfolio, over $15 million in revenue was generated annually. Stewart assisted in the internal growth of the organization by mentoring and training Regional Managers, as well as developing numerous new roles for the institutionally backed enterprise. Prior to joining ParkLand Ventures, he worked for Meridian Construction Capital, a lending subsidiary of a national asset manager with a focus on commercial real estate.
Stewart earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with a concentration in Real Estate and Urban Land Development, from Virginia Commonwealth University. Stewart sits on the board of directors for local charity Lovern and Friends.

Pushkal Basavaraj
Pushkal currently serves as a managing partner and head of administration for 1850 Investments. Pushkal previously served as a partner and Vice President of Finance for a privately held asset manager and advisor for funds and high net worth individuals. Pushkal specializes in due diligence, underwriting, financial reporting, and portfolio acquisitions and dispositions. During his tenure, Mr. Basavaraj facilitated the acquisition and development of over $250 million of assets and directed all financial aspects of the firm. Previously, Pushkal worked for a regional real estate brokerage and development firm in Richmond, Virginia where he focused on investment grade transactions and compiled market analytics across the Central Virginia region for private clients.
Pushkal is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and is a licensed real estate broker in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
